 Stan Zdon's Surgery Update
Hey All,
Stan is in Regions Hospital still, he never went home before Christmas. He has a blood clot that the doctors are taking care of, but he also has fluid in his lungs and an infection. His family has put out a call for support, in the form of cards for Stan sent to his house. Stan cannot have many visitors at the moment so please do NOT go to the hospital. If you are so inclined to send a card, you may want to send the dirty perverted old man sort!

I just took a couple of cards over to Stan’s house. It just so happened that his wife was home so I got to talk to her. The doctor put in an umbrella to catch any blood clots (mainly in his legs), he does have an infection, and they are going to put in a tube to drain his lungs. The good news is that Stan unexpectedly sat up last night and turned on the TV. He also was able to eat his breakfast himself this morning. While he is not out of the woods as of yet, these are promising signs.
If you mailed your membership to Stan they were received and will be taken care of soon.
Again, Stan cannot have any visitors, and cards, etc. should be sent to his home.

HEY ALL!
Good News! Stan was moved out of ICU! He is working with a therapist to get his strength back. Obviously he will not be making the club meeting this month however, memberships can be sent to Stan via mail as he will process them. Just do not forget to send with it a copy of your AMA card and a self addressed stamped envelope!
